Newborn Babies

My best friends are on a roll this year! 1 baby each within 2 weeks of each other. I've been on a very serious birthing and delivery schedule. I'm glad I could be there with both of them as they welcome their little bundles into the world. It's a fantastic feeling to see a fresh new born. Here's a few photos of the latest bundle delivered 2 days ago.

Crazy litte "big" feet!

retail self portrait

I was out shopping with my sister-in-law and decided to see if these yellow rimmed sunglasses were just the upgrade I needed. So I decided a self portrait photo was the way to "really" tell if the yellow rims looked good...as opposed to the mirror. Turns out I wasn't quite satisfied with the look but I do have a new (retail) self portrait.
(And can someone tell me why they always put the price tag in that obnoxious place??...Just gets in the way of the "if this looks good, I should definitely get it" decision!)

About a Boy

A few days ago I had the pleasure of roaming the St. Lawrence Market area in Toronto with Nathan and his mom (who happens to be one of my best friends). I've photographed Nathan before and now that he's growing we thought it would be a good time to add some more photos to his ever growing bio. Here he is with his spunky and curious personality being a downtown (park finding) sweetheart of a boy:

Top model

Tonight I watched America's Next Top Model with my family and since we knew that there was a trans gender woman in there somewhere (this was our 1st episode of the season) we spent most of the show trying to guess who it was. Barely any girl wasn't one ( this was being judged by 3 guys and 2 girls by the way) At the end of the day though, the actual "tranny" was this cool girl Isis who no one instantly guessed. This got me to thinking - if a guy (pre-tranny...formation) can look so great as a girl (post transformation) then do we girls have ANY excuses?! Really tomorrow I'm going to make an extra effort to "micro-manage the details of my look" (quoted from P.Diddy - YES, I followed up Top Model with a Fashion File Segment!)
So my fellow girlz out there - we have no excuses! Let's do our Isis today!
